The position of Tour Accountant is to manage budgeting and show settlements for our tours, working closely with Promotors and other internal teams across the business. Key Responsibilities:Budgeting: Support the promoter through building, reviewing and provide specific input where required into initial tour budgets ensuring the final version shows financial reasonableness. Liaise with all departments across the business, interpreting all information received to build tracking budgets (PLS) for promoters. Highlight and explain variances and reduce the financial uncertainty around each tour. Provide tracking budgets for forecast input. Provide actual versus budget review on tours. Show Settlement: Working closely with the Promoters, internal departments to ensure the financial accuracy of each tour. Discuss insurance with promotors and if required arrange. Arrange per guidelines foreign currency hedging if required. Prepare artist deposit as required. Work with Tour Settlement Officer (TSO) to arrange and reconcile cash floats for tour reps at each event when required. Review venue settlements and assist TSO with financial coding. Review and approve in payable system (Inspyrus) tour related invoices as required. Prepare artists show settlements and fee reconciliations for settlement with Promoter, Agent or Artist tour accountant as required. Work with VIP Manager to present VIP settlements and fee reconciliations for settlement with Promoter, Agent or Artist tour accountant as required. Ensure withholding tax calculations are prepared in accordance with both Australian and New Zealand tax codes. Month End / Finance Work closely with Management Accountants to submit tour PLS and fee reconciliations for lodgement at month end subject to month end deadlines.
