Link Purpose of the role The GIC Sales Canada Capabilities team is looking for someone with a learning mindset who is passionate about Revenue Management/Pricing and energized by working at the intersection of Sales, Finance, Data and Analytics, Brand, CMI and Capabilities. You will be hands on, action oriented, and accountable as we continue to build a best-in-class Global Revenue Management capability that helps drive the performance of General Mills now and into the future.In this role, you will support the Market Strategy & Revenue Management team within the Canada business by providing them with SRM support. Leverage and embed SRM Tools, when available Provide support and/or act as subject matter expertise on all 5 levers of SRM: Price, Trade, Price Pack Architecture, Mix, and Terms Collaborate across boundaries to learn and implement best-in-class SRM techniques, pre-existing solutions, tools, platforms etc. Identify opportunities to utilize in-house forecasting models to support market initiatives, analyze options, measure, and track results Accelerate engagement with the business by building a brand for self/process and displaying strong stakeholder management skills Comprehend the business strategy, fluidly connect the dots between various performance indices and find synergies in process and lead execution Partner with business/ SRM experts to eliminate market knowledge gaps & drive success through cross-team collaboration Champion SRM via outstanding support; becoming a valued counsel to the business Stakeholder Management Demonstrate effective stakeholder management to deliver high level of customer satisfaction via tangible outputs. Attention to detail, ability to complete given tasks with accuracy Self-motivated and detail oriented with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced & changing environment Multitasking ability - learn and implement a host of tools/databases and software's/platforms Design, execute and market Proof of Concept. Strong Story telling skills with Selling & Influential Communication Intermediate/ High proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel & PowerPoint) Basic/Intermediate with data manipulation and visualization packages (i.e. Tableau, Qlik, Alteryx, Spotfire, GCP, DataPrep) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Preferred Majors: Business Management, Statistics, Marketing, Retail, Economics 4-7 years of relevant Business Reporting, Analytics & Visualization experience in CPG (or related) industry. Experience with market data analysis tools is required (experience working with ACNielsen and IRI preferred.) Expertise in General Mills USRO Trade planning cycle & concepts Expertise in POS & Shipment data, recognizing patterns for GMI categories and/or customers.
