Highly skilled and authoritative specialists offer services which range from consulting to craft & prototyping to solution & implementation and operation - everything out of one hand!We are looking for: Lead Engineer- Electrical,• Creating basic designs and supervising detailed designs in the field of low and medium voltage distributors, E-houses and busduct systems;• Understanding technical requirements from specifications and converting them into appropriate basic designs;• Reviewing technical basic and detail designs;• Ensuring that installations are designed and delivered in accordance with the specified requirements;• Planning project work and preparing progress reports;• Managing and supervising fellow engineers for detail engineering;• Proactively liaising with the client and the sales and quotation team;• Maintaining financial status and preparing additional work quotations;• Organising and attending factory tests (FAT) with the customer;• Managing any sub-suppliers and Siemens factories;• Initiating and developing improvement proposals;Use your skills to move the world forward!• Completed degree in electrical engineering (Bachelor or Master level) with at least 8 years' work experience as a (lead) engineer;• Knowledge of low-voltage electrical distribution boards, distribution boards, transformers and electrical protective devices; • You are creative and able to communicate ideas and inspire/motivate people;• Accurate, critical and have a broad technical knowledge and interest;• Flexible working attitude, practical and result-oriented;• Stress-resistant and able to act within a pressured environment;• Excellent knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken;• Living in the Chennai region.• Working week of 40 hours.Make your mark in our exciting world at Siemens.This role is based in Chennai, where you'll get the chance to work with teams impacting entire cities, countries - and the shape of things to come.We're Siemens.
