Join us in powering the progress of global aerospace.This position will work directly with AvionX Product Delivery and Product Support team to provide In-Service engineering support that includes, coordinating issues and resolution, working with product development teams to troubleshoot and identify root cause and corrective actions for issues and implement robust reporting mechanisms to provide status of all open issues and metrics for all AvionX designed and manufactured electronic units. This role will be based out of Bangalore, India.Position Responsibilities:Conduct and complete root case/corrective action activities for all in service issues.Works across multiple teams to identify, collects and provides required analysis and detailed status reports or metrics on failures to support root cause identification and corrective actionsWorks with the existing Maintenance Repair & Operations team to execute required testing and analysis for any returned/failed unitsSupports the Product Support team and Manufacturing in coordinating with Supplier Management to ensure part failures are properly documented, investigated, and communicatedProvides engineering coordination across multiple teams throughout the lifecycle of the productMaintains disciplined revision control of all engineering documentation program baselinesPerforms analysis and planning efforts for the product to determine impacts, constraints and plans involving product development, production rates, process improvement, or program initiativesDevelops and posts planning, scheduling and change related metrics/reports/status as neededSupports the Chief Engineer by offering analysis and creating mitigation plans to address any issues that arise during production or while in service.Updates JIRA for proper tracking of all tasks and provides status/inputs as needed.Provides status reports as neededEmployer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.Very Good understanding of DO 254/DO178C standards is mandatoryStrong knowledge in DO 160 StandardsSystems testing knowledge and Hands on experience in using test equipmentExposure to development of DO 160 Qualification test procedures, hardware test procedures is preferredFamiliarity of Reliability calculations such as FMEA, FTA and Reliability Tools is an added advantageStrong Written, verbal communication with engineers, management, and non-engineering support staffExperience in working with suppliers or other external stakeholders is preferredAbility to work in a virtual team environmentINCOSE certification on Systems Engineering is an added advantageDetailed knowledge of FAA certification and airworthiness requirements is highly desired.Exposure to SAE ARP 4754 & 4761 Standards.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience ) :Develop and maintain relationships / partnerships with customers, team members, peers, and partners to develop collaborative plans and complete projects.Demonstrate strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
