We are setting up our product supply plant in Gujarat and to facilitate this strategic initiative, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional for the role of Associate Manager - Government Affairs. Key Responsibilities: Plant Establishment: Lead the engagement with state and central government officials, specifically focusing on ministries and departments relevant to the establishment of the plant. Handhold all necessary approvals and licenses required for the success ful initiation and operation of the plant.License and Approvals Management: Develop a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory landscape pertaining to the FMCG industry in Gujarat, ensuring a smooth and timely acquisition of licenses and approvals. Work closely with regulatory bodies to expedite the approval process.Government Relations: (Policy Monitoring and Analysis, Risk Mitigation and Reputational Comms) Build and nurture effective relationships with key stakeholders at local, state and central levels to ensure a supportive and conducive regulatory environment for our plant. Advocate for the interests of Coca-Cola India and strategically position the company within the government framework. Stay vigilant about changes in government policies and regulations that may impact the establishment and operation of the plant. Conduct thorough analyses of policy changes and provide strategic recommendations to mitigate potential challenges. Understand any PR risks and mitigate reputation risks for the plant. Manage risk media and engage with key media houses and journalists. Ensure CSR, Sustainability activities and associated awards and recognitions for the plant. Package Procurement Specialist - 20 months STAJob Summary The India based Procurement Manager position will develop the sourcing strategy and manage packaging supplier setup for CPS India Sanand site. Define and execute, in collaboration with stakeholders within the CPS, Corporate Quality, R&D, global and local business supply strategy - ensuring continuity of supply, lowest total cost, sustainability focus, highest standards of quality and service. Lead supplier negotiations, contracting, and category strategy to ensure sustainable competitive supply. Monitor expenditure and budget for start up and hand over to package lead once plant is in operation. Key person in managing all package suppliers to develop strategy, improve supply and service locally. Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and execute Strategic Sourcing Strategy for CPS India Sanand and clear glide path for future to be hand over Spend Management - Manage company spend to ensure to ensure maximum value is achieved at all times, in a sustainable way.
