If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.JOB SUMMARY Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, the Sales Manager, SMERF is responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in the SMERF (Social, Military, Education, Religious, Fraternal) markets. This position is responsible for acquiring and maintaining quality group accounts. A self-starter who is as adept at picking up the phone to make cold calls as they are at nurturing existing key accounts to maximum profitability, the Sales Manager, SMERF will be an integral part of the team tasked with developing and managing revenues. To be successful, the Sales Manager, SMERF will need to thrive in a fast-paced environment where results, recognition, and reward go hand in hand.
