The Role Job Summary The Highway Design Manager leads the highway design team in the Bangalore design office during design delivery and will be expected to be involved in and lead the design of all projects starting from concept development to final design and tendering. The team consists of highly motivated scientific and medical advisors, project managers, medical illustrators and publication managers working together with HQ, Regions and affiliates across the world. Our core competencies are communicating scientific and medical knowledge on our products to the external scientific community and across the organization; delivering external medical events including in:house content development and project management; and Publication planning. Our core competencies are 1) Communicating scientific and medical knowledge on our products to the external scientific community and across the organization; 2) Evidence generation and support to clinical trial program across phases and newer therapy areas; 3) Publication planning: drive development of publications according to publication plan and strategy for each product/project in collaboration with the Global Publication Team; 4) KOL engagement activities: contribute to and execute global Health Care Professionals strategy, execute global meetings/advisory boards and support speakers in preparation for presentation of NN data at conferences and symposia; 5) Medical educational events including symposiums at international congresses and stand:alone summits/virtual webinars; 6) Internal Medical guidance : Support execution of global medical strategy, support alignment of relevant cross:functional business activities on specific product/project, support development of promotional materials initiated by Global Marketing. The PositionThe position holder reports to the unit head (i.e. Head of GMA BLR) and provides professional and seamless support to the unit head (i.e. Head of GMA BLR) and the Leadership team in driving transformational changes across different processes (organisational development, financial planning, performance management) in the unit and act as the focal point for all the departments, such that day:to:day activity is efficient and work between the departments is cohesive. Some other activities include all management processes, preparing decision materials (internal and external presentations; follow:up on action points), supporting the Unit Head in executing organizational changes and ensuring and driving compliance.:Resource Management: Managing resource planning and prioritisation of tasks to ensure optimal and flexible use of resources across GMA:BLR.:Management processes and decision materials: Prepare decision materials such as internal and external presentations e.g. ODP, talent/ succession slides, etc. and help the Unit head in following up on strategy:related and other follow:up action points.
