As a Software Engineer in IT Applications, you will be part of the software engineering team that develops Lead to Cash functionality and is built on a Salesforce Sales Cloud implementation. You will work with the team of software engineers, product managers, and architects responsible for feature development and application maintenance responsive to the needs of a highly complex and global sales organization. The following is a selection of role responsibilities:* Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other related technologies.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.* Customize Salesforce applications to support business processes and enhance user experience.* Implement and maintain integrations with third-party systems using APIs and middleware.* Perform code reviews, troubleshoot and debug issues, and ensure best practices are followed throughout the development lifecycle.* Work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process automation and optimization.* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers as needed.
Required Skills:* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.* Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer, with a proven track record of delivering successful Salesforce projects.* Proficiency in Salesforce development tools and technologies, including but not limited to Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS), Salesforce DX, and Salesforce APIs.* Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security model.* Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Middleware tools (e.g., MuleSoft), and ETL tools (e.g., Informatica).* Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira.* Experience implementing and managing Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines for Salesforce projects, using tools like Salesforce CLI, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.* Proficiency in version control systems such as Git, including branching, merging, and resolving conflicts.* Ability to automate testing, code quality checks, and deployment processes to ensure high reliability and efficiency.* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.* Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II are preferred.
