BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Master's degree- 1+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experienceDESCRIPTIONrekindle programNote : For more details on rekindle program, please visit - https://www.amazon.jobs/en/landing_pages/rekindleThis role supports preparation of US C Corporation State income tax filings, other tax compliance projects, and Worldwide CapEx reporting of US income tax consequences for Amazon's global portfolio of assets. Key job responsibilities• Prepare and review US state and local income tax returns, including state modification calculations, multi-state allocation and apportionment calculations, and the calculation and documentation of state credits.• Assist in preparation of Amazon's US income tax provision, forecast, and tax returns as it relates to US CapEx transactions by analyzing US GAAP reporting, determining book-tax differences, preparing workpapers and technical memorandums, performing tax law research, and operating/updating data models.• Assist in preparation of deferred tax reconciliations; identify drivers of basis differences.• Assist in identification and implementation of process and technology tool improvements which increase efficiency, scalability, and accuracy of data. • Assist in developing analyses, metrics, and narratives to be communicated to tax management, external auditors, and other stakeholders within and outside tax. • Assist in coordinating information requests with business partners to ensure accurate and timely inclusion within various tax reporting deliverables. • Participate in special projects as assigned.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Hyderabad, TS, INDPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced levelSalary: .
