Assist in Remote Migrations from on premise to Private Data Centre movements. Handle activities such as backup/restore, performance tuning and configuration of environments as well as incremental backups as required. Monitor & administer automated production scheduling system. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Formal training or certification on infrastructure disciplines concepts and 3+ years applied experience Demonstrates Strong knowledge of one or more infrastructure disciplines such as hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, and performance assessments Demonstrates Strong knowledge of one or more scripting languages (e.g., Scripting, Python, etc.) Experience with multiple cloud technologies with the ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds Drives to develop infrastructure engineering knowledge of additional domains, data fluency, and automation knowledge Troubleshooting skills of batch jobs on AS/400 day / month-end / procedures Good knowledge on BRMS full backups, media management and restore objects. Creating / modifying BRMS control groups and other policies Creating Implementation guides, Standard Operating Procedure, known error records & knowledgebase articles Good exposure to ticketing tools and understanding of Quality & ITIL process.
