We are establishing a Greenfield manufacturing facility near Ahmedabad in India. This will be the flagship facility in line with Industry 4.0 with state-of-the-art lights-out advanced automation and digitization. We are looking for a Packaging Specialist to work with Engineering and Packaging Suppliers to set packaging specifications for new packaging/filling equipment, including all critical to quality requirements for packaging suppliers.What you'll do for us Liaise with key stakeholders to build specs that are fit for purpose, maximize operational speeds, and allow for variances in the packaging manufacturing process (supplier). Develop, optimize, and secure the network of packaging suppliers. Ensure safety, compliance, and performance of packaging purchased for use on CPS filling lines. Share resources and expertise with other technical functions and within the CPS facility. Leverage and support the Packaging Network and become a SME for 3-4 key packaging types defined by plant and Global Packaging Director (based on plant needs) Lead Packaging Supplier Development & Technical Visits including audits as needed (by SQS) Lead Value Creation Projects and Packaging Sustainability (WWW) projects related to packaging development & optimization (current and new packaging materials). Prioritize and communicate project status in local and Global PMO's. Support any packaging issues investigation or troubleshooting, identifying root cause and corrective actions, making changes as needed (training, specification update, equipment changes). Qualifications & Requirements B.SC Engineering, Science, Pharmacy or equivalent 1-3 years of related experience Technical packaging experience. Projects management skills. Strong negotiation, follow-up, and presentation skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Computer literacy (SAP Q Notes, MS applications, PICASSO, Windows platform) is a plus Environment general knowledge. Food safety & Process quality basic knowledge, e.g. GMP, Process capability, SQC.
