Overview: The Compliance, Conduct & Operational Risk (CCOR) Monitoring and Testing (M&T) team is responsible for the timely and effective management and execution of the firm's global CCOR monitoring and testing program across multiple lines of business. The role is part of a team of individuals responsible for providing solutions to drive effective controls monitoring and testing techniques using data, and for the execution of certain monitoring and testing engagements for the Global Financial Crime and Compliance team. The team will be covering all Lines of Business within JP Morgan i.e. Corporate and Investment Bank, Asset Wealth Management, Commercial Bank, Consumer Community Banking and Risk Management & compliance. Minimum expectations and responsibilities: Effective Test / Monitoring / Issue Validations execution (Timeliness and Quality) Effective Oral and Written communication (includes effective interactions / communication with CCOR, Controls and Business partners, both written and oral) Ability to think out of the box and design tests that target risks and yield issues Senior Stakeholder Management (i.e., engaging / interacting / reporting back to CCOR, Controls and Business Stakeholders) Executive Presence (i.e., work well under pressure, communicate clearly and have a confident body language Ability to navigate the system and escalate as necessary Good understanding of Automation Tools and capabilities Innovation / Creativity/ Automation - Ability to Challenge the Norm Contributes towards initiatives (outside of BAU and of Global nature) Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills: Minimum 8 years to 12+ years of relevant experience in the financial services industry in Know Your Customer(KYC), Compliance, Risk management, Audit. Understanding of KYC, Sanctions, Screening, Transaction Monitoring, Suspicious Activity Reporting, and Tax evasions. Master's or bachelor's degree in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Reporting will also act as an added advantage. Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment. Ability to perform end to end reviews of processes, think through various risks, understand applicability of different regulations and policies and ultimately be able to identify gaps / risks in operating environment. Ability to innovate, challenge the status quo and identify automation / process re-engineering opportunities with good knowledge of control design and root cause analysis. Strong project management skills, experience working with complex data sets and environments, drawing conclusions and reporting findings. Strong relationship building skills to influence/negotiate desired outcomes. Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with colleagues and senior management. Strong verbal/written communication. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage expectations and competing priorities, be enthusiastic, have willingness to adapt in a fast-paced environment, understand sense of urgency, be effective under pressure. Extensive experience in designing and executing control testing programs, including the development of consistent standards and methodologies shall be desirable.
