They are excellent individual contributors capable of taking up tasks from start to completion, with guidance. QAT would be responsible for understanding the features and components and detailed functional requirements well enough, coming up with the test cases with some guidance, test execution and reporting with high bar on quality. QATs are technically savvy in use of software, computers and devices, runs automated scripts, analyzes failures, support automation, can install and configure software, can use debug settings, have technical ability to gather logs, traces, etc. to add to bug reports when provided with instructions. They assist developers or other testers and maintain a high quality test environment, recommends improvements to SOPs, tools and metrics.Key job responsibilities1. Assist developers or other testers and maintain a high-quality test environment, recommends improvements to SOPs, tools and metrics.A day in the lifeThe Amazon Appstore team is looking for high-energy, detail-oriented, and technically-savvy QAT’s to perform test execution on Amazon’s devices and services. You will support test execution manually and through automated tools. You will troubleshoot using debug settings and share bug reports with necessary logs, run automated tests and analyze failures, identify, deep dive and report issues accurately.
