The position will report to the Senior Manager of Technology Asset Management (TAM) and will drive the execution and automation of asset management operations within an Agile framework. This position will be focused on the optimization of operational processes while aligning to and supporting strategic objectives for the TAM organization. The role will also oversee a team of Asset Management Analysts responsible for the day-to-day execution of operational activities. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong problem-solving and communication skills, as well as a collaborative and Agile mindset.This role will be based out of Bengaluru, India. Position Responsibilities: Lead the successful management, control, and compliance of software licenses and entitlements throughout all lifecycle stages, including routine audits and inventory reviews.Optimize software asset management operations and capabilities, including but not limited to automated asset discovery and data normalization.Direct the development of automated capabilities in the form of dashboards, reporting, etc.Drive cost efficient procurement and management of enterprise software in alignment with existing policies and standards.Guide the enforcement of policy, process, or standards violations as they relate to the software asset lifecycle.Collaborate with business partners to support financial operations (FinOps) and provide accurate inputs for data-driven decision-making.Maintain team understanding of the asset lifecycle and all associated governance requirements.Serve as Application Manager for enterprise tools, ensuring data integrity is maintained via up-to-date asset inventory records, including software licenses. This may also include the management of system integration activities in collaboration with cross-functional business partners.Work together with business stakeholders to ensure the successful integration of asset management processes. As well, continuously seek opportunities to optimize and improve asset lifecycle management activities in support of downstream processes.In addition to the responsibilities listed above, future responsibilities may require support of processes including Security Management, IT Service Management, Vendor Management or Contract/Renewal Management.Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): A Bachelor's degree or higher is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION 5+ years of relevant work experience, including software asset management (licenses and entitlements), process automation, asset management lifecycle principles, and policy enforcement3+ years of experience leading teams, including project management2+ years of experience with Scaled Agile Framework or Agile MethodologiesExperience managing IT Asset Management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Flexera)Familiarity with aerospace industry, military and government specifications, handbooks and standards. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience ) : Experience standing up new functions, departments, teams, etc.Experience with regulatory, internal, and vendor auditsExperience with project management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps)Relevant certifications such as CSAM, ServiceNow, etc. Typical Education & Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 13-16 years' related work experience or Master's Degree with 12 + years of experience with an equivalent combination of education and experience.
