Join us in powering the progress of global aerospace.Position Responsibilities: Apply broad knowledge of Boeing airplane design and/or engineering principles to solve Urgent/AOG system issuesSolve technical, operational and quality issues that cannot be resolved by the customerAssess system failures and develops solutions for continued safe operation of aircraftDesign and/or provide analysis of interim and final engineering solutions to return airplanes to revenue serviceConduct root cause analysis and develop dispositions for nonconformance'sAnalyze reported problems for potential safety issuesDevelops solutions utilizing sound engineering logic, experience, and published dataProvides troubleshooting assistance to customers via telephoneCollaborates with other support group to develop solutionsCommunicates with customers if additional information is needed or roadblocks arisePerform review of the requests and determine the best avenue for resolution Review outgoing messages for qualityCorrespond with Operators through BCS, e-mail, 1M and telephoneActs as point of contact for incoming calls and BCS Service RequestsThis position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate may be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) :Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent degree from an accredited course of study in an engineering discipline, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.The position requires flexibility to mark a nonstandard schedule, which may include working, holidays and weekends, and second or third shift hours to support the Boeing fleet operating in a 24/7/365 environment10 or more years related engineering experienceThe ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience working in Airlines MOC/MCC/AOG HandlingExperience with Boeing aircraft data (hands on experience is a plus)Customer Service ExperienceB1 or B2 license is advantageousTypical Education & Experience: Engineering degree and 10 to 12 years related work experience, OR a Master's degree and 8 to 10-year related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Export Control Requirements: Not an export control positionEqual Opportunity Employer:We are an equal opportunity employer.
