We are looking for a " Application DBA " for one of our esteemed Clients forBangalore Location.RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide support to business and internal function to ensure smooth operation of business.Provide regular database maintenance and tuning.Liaise with business users and internal stakeholders to identify business requirements and work with IT teams to ensure flawless operational support.Work closely with multiple internal and vendor teams to successfully deliver projects on time.Provide support in enterprise:wide system implementations.24×7 dba support in ROTA(Rotational Shift System).Primary and Secondary Model Operating Style. Eg Oracle APPS DBA is primary responsibility at Expert Level and NonOracle Databases DBA is secondary responsibility at L1. For Non Oracle Database DBA on the job training is provided so that candidate can provide Level 1 support.REQUIREMENT:Experience of 3 to 5 years as applications DBA.Experience in Oracle Apps DBA support activities in Apps (Release 12.1.x and 12.2.x) environments, clear understanding of Architecture, day to administration, installation, configuration.R12.2 Application and database Cloning and Patching (adop).Good knowledge in Troubleshooting and resolving any Application and database issues.Must be well versed with AD utilities, concurrent managers, workflow and other EBS components.Performance tuning and Diagnosis at DB and apps Level.APPS DBA knowledge and hands on exposure in Single Node and Multi Node environments.Migration of Oracle Applications to different platforms on:premise and to Cloud.Hands on skills in partitioning, tuning and diagnostics in an Oracle environment.Good understanding of database migration and schema migration activities.Working experience on RAC database environment.Hands on working Knowledge UNIX and other Operating System utilities.Working experience in Weblogic administration.Hands on Knowledge of System Administration to reasonable level.RDBMS exposure like Backups, Recoveries, RMAN.Co:ordinate, troubleshoot, resolve issues and deal with SR's and get the issues resolved.Must be a good team player with good documentation practices and flexible to handle.
