Primary Responsibilities: The engineer would be analyzing customer and system requirements to develop architectural approaches and detailed specifications for complex Power supplies ranging from 25W to 2KW. The duties will include circuit design, requirements and interface definition, modeling and analysis, testing, performance and design verification for projects involving digital and analog circuit design. The candidate is required to be hands on and provide technical leadership in design, development & production handover of airworthy hardware power supplies for mission critical computing hardware, aircraft data bus interface hardware and multi-function displays. Duties will be architecting and creating Hardware design and verification plans, detailed design documents, requirements decomposition and testing and integration of the power supply hardware. Good understanding of grounding and shielding concepts, chassis design and simulation of Conducted Emission for power supplies, Middle brook criterion etc. Circuit Design and application of Six Sigma principles for Analysis like WCCA, Part Stress analysis, Derating etc Selection of components to be used in Avionics Electronics Designs. Simulation experience and creation of behavioral models with MATLAB, LTspice and SABER. Experience with digital/analog electronics. Experience with Power Integrity analysis, Hyperlynx SI, Timing Analysis.
