Purpose of the job To ensure demand and supply of raw materials for the premix plant meeting customer delivery dates Maintain good communication within the Premix team to ensure smooth flow of information Manage raw material planning and monitor forecasting, inventory and warehouse control together with the Purchaser and Markets to ensure the optimal stock levels Job context2. Position Context This role is for local operation. The focus of the job is locally in India but cooperation with the other planners in the region especially Malaysia peers but not restricted to. Collaboration with Singapore occurs regularly, as well as close communication with the Purchasing team.Market Characteristics – dynamics in the market show growth with new customers or premixes and are difficult to predict and forecast. This requires flexibility and gives challenges to balancing working capital and speed of supply as the pool of suppliers are from Europe/ USA with long delivery lead-times. 3. Job contentKey areas of accountability/responsibilityPlanning: Responsible for inventory Planning and replenishment of material and packing materials to support a smooth Production without disruption. Work closely with Premix Commercial Management and monitor the raw material and premix (interlink) forecast: Upload HNH Premix Sales Forecast for all markets within DNPAP in APO to facilitate in raw materials planning for India Premix Plant as well as to update vitamins requirement needed for premix plant in APO system to facilitate demand supply planning, monitor FC (premix) with market to deliver the best accuracy FC premix in order to maintain a health and reasonable CDI for premix operation. Review MRP for 3rdr party ingredients raw materials. Run MRP in SAP system to determine the 3rd party raw materials needed (including some packaging materials from overseas) Inventory management material and finished products in India plant. Maintain optimum stock levels, minimizes inventory holding cost and maintain obsolescence cost at a minimum.Related Tasks Work with QC & production on 3rd party raw materials with quality issues and/ shortages. Issue new batch of raw materials to premix plant for QC test (for all new incoming shipment & batch). Coordinate with logistic and purchase department/freight forwarder on all incoming shipment.Reporting Provide management reports relating to slow moving items and blocked inventories (due to various reasons etc).
