Ensure planning and implementation of all project-related activities and measures regarding EHS matters for multiple project sites. ? Focus on ensuring that internal and external EHS requirements are complied with and on laying down protective measures to prevent accidents. Guides, instructs and supports the site safety officers to ensure adherence to EHS processes at site by the site team including sub-contractor.? Coordinates the various Contractors operating within the project site and determine & evaluate risk areas and drive implementation of mitigation measures. ? Draw up the site specific EHS plans in line with the requirements of the project and ensures that it is implemented.? Assist the Project Manager with planning, supervision, monitoring and reporting on EHS matters in all phases of the project.? Plans and maintains in coordination with Regional EHS officer adequate and competent EHS resources at sites to execute the defined scope of work safely. ? Reports to Regional EHS officer and Regional Manager Operations for EHS related topicsSkills and Experience:? 5-10 years of professional experience as occupational safety officer on Metro Sites. ? Knowledge on environmental protection, emergency management and fire prevention? Knowledge of planning and tendering for collectively managed EHS/safety equipment ? Experience in different projects with an interdisciplinary approach, and technical supervision of internal and external employees ? Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team. Cross-disciplinary thinking ? Decision-making skills and assertiveness. ? Initiative and results-orientation.? Willingness to move across India according to the Projects? Degree / Diploma in Engineering / Science and EHS related recognized qualifications / Certificates (e.g., ADIS, NEBOSH Diploma).?
