The Engineering Manager will be responsible for:Collaborating with the Talent team to efficiently acquire and retain human resources to support the team's mission, while taking ownership of the selection processCultivating an enjoyable and dynamic work environment, fostering a merit-based culture that is attracting top talent in the industryPromoting a highly engaged and dedicated work atmosphere by implementing objective-setting and performance management proceduresGuiding and mentoring the team, providing appropriate training and development opportunities, and removing obstacles to enhance team performanceEstablishing annual team objectives aligned with the overall departmental goalsEnsuring that the team is executing tasks in accordance with the departmental strategy and annual objectivesDeveloping, updating, and revising departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with Director-level approvalGuaranteeing adherence to established processes and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) by the teamAddressing and resolving any gaps or issues within the teamCreating and managing procedures for handling customer issues, ensuring that the department is maintaining service and productivity standardsCollaborating with various functional areas within the Labs department to currently optimize Agile team performance and achieve product roadmap milestonesBachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field with at least 10+ years experience professional experienceProven experience as an Engineering Manager or in a similar leadership role, with a track record of successfully leading engineering teamsStrong technical background Excellent leadership and communication skills
