Liaison Manager Salary in Delhi - PayScale

Lead the SQA department in developing and implementing comprehensive strategies to achieve and maintain superior supplier quality.Oversee the entire supplier lifecycle, including selection, evaluation, qualification, development, and performance monitoring.Manage and conduct supplier audits according to industry standards (IATF 16945, VDA 6.3, etc.) and identify areas for improvement.Implement Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) at the supplier level and ensure timely completion of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) for new product development.Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers using methodologies such as 8D problem solving, DFMEA (Design FMEA), and various quality gating parameters.Monitor and analyze supplier performance metrics like Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and Days of Inventory (DOl), and develop strategies for reduction.Foster strong relationships with suppliers and act as a key liaison between the company and our supplier base.Stay current with industry best practices and regulatory requirements (IATF 16945, etc.) for supplier quality management.Minimum of 15 years of experience in core supplier quality assurance functions within the automotive industry (Tier 1 preferred).Proven track record of leading and motivating a team of SQA professionals (minimum 6 years of team leading experience).In-depth knowledge and experience with supplier quality assurance processes, including APQP, PPAP, 8D, DFMEA, COPQ, and various quality gating parameters.Experience with conducting supplier audits based on industry standards (IATF 16945, VDA 6.3, etc.).Strong understanding of automotive components and manufacturing processes across multiple commodities (sheet metal, casting, rubber, plastics, etc.).Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.Ability to travel as needed.
