This position will be located in the Boeing India Engineering and Technology Center, Bangalore, India and reports to the Manager - Design Build, Boeing Test & Evaluation India.Position Responsibilities :This position will be responsible to support mechanical design and analysis of wide range of mechanical components and products of various aircraft test programs.Develops, maintains and modifies test parts and installation designs, using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools and/or other design methods, to provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers and external customers throughout the product lifecycle.Supports supplier development, test and production activities and coordinates with the supplier to optimize the design and achieve program goals.This position will be responsible for communicating regularly with team members in Boeing organizations and shall provide periodic update on project progress, quality metrics, project summaries, and other related documents.Must be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams within Boeing and external partners.This position will participate and support initiatives of Boeing India organization related to engineering excellence, employee development, customer engagement etc. Basic Qualifications :Bachelor or Master from an accredited university in engineering preferably in Mechanical / Aerospace / Aeronautical is required as a basic qualification along with 5 to 9 years of relevant work experience.Preferred Qualifications :Expertise in CAD Tools (AutoCAD, CATIA, Creo, Unigraphics/NX) for Modeling, Drafting & Model Based Definition is essential and PLM software (Enovia, Teamcenter).Generative shape design, Part design, Assembly design, Sheet metal design, Tubing, Drafting.
