We are looking for a " Software Engineering Manager "for one of our esteemed Clients for Ahmedabad Location.RESPONSIBILITIES:Employ solid software engineering practices to ensure maintainable and extensible code as well as high:quality releases.Complete ownership of training, mentoring and high level of productivity of the development team.Ensure timely response and resolution of customer issues and escalations.Complete responsibility and ownership of deliverables from Engineering teams in Ahmedabad.Product release planning, task estimation with team, task assignment, project tracking and managing all deliverables from India engineering teams.Work in agile environment with aggressive goals in two week sprints/iterations.Interact closely with engineering as well as product team located in San Francisco on an on:going basis for task co:ordination.Hiring talented engineers to expand the team.Requirement:BE/ME/MCA Computer Science degree.5 or more years software development experience including experience with test automation using tools such as Selenium and TestNg.5 or more years of software development management and/or software quality management experience.Prior experience in building scalable web applications using Java and related frameworks.Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.Familiarity with software engineering tools such as Jira, git, Test Rail etc.Familiarity with test:driven, agile development practices.A high degree of self:motivation and ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks.The ability to interact creatively and achieve results in a fast:moving, dynamic environment.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Smart, congenial, open:minded, productive.
